Welcome to the Czech Language Foundation

The Czech Language Foundation is a 501(c)3 foundation formed to promote Czech language and culture at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and in the state of Nebraska.

It's Banquet Time: Sunday, October 9th 2022

The Czech Language Foundation Annual Banquet is almost here.

Once again, we will have a Czech dinner, entertainment and silent auction. All are welcome to celebrate our Czech culture, language and heritage.

The banquet is Sunday, October 9th at 5:00pm at First Lutheran Church (1551 S 70th Street, Lincoln, NE).
Tickets will be available online or from a CLF board member.  Advance purchase is required.

The Czech Language Program at UNL depends on the support of the Nebraska Czech
Community.  it began in 1907.  It is one of the oldest Czech language programs in the United States, taught by a wonderful teacher, Dr. Hana Waisserova, from the Czech Republic.  Students learn both language and culture.
