Save the date to celebrate our love for the Czech language and culture. Our special guest speaker will be Dr. James D. Le Sueur.
James Le Sueur, history professor at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln will be the guest speaker at the CLF banquet. Dr. Le Sueur will speak about the Czechoslovak government-in-exile in England following the 1939 Nazi occupation of the Czech lands.
Dr. Le Sueur is the Samuel Clark Waugh Distinguished Professor of International Relations and the Chair of the UNL Department of History, he is also a Senior Associate Member of St. Anthony's College, Oxford.

This summer we will again host our Annual Meeting, the one where we all get together to talk about the past year and the year to come.
The annual meeting is important for us all to get the state of Czech language program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and our community.

Join us at the Czech and Slovak Educational Center and Museum on 7/15/2023 for coffee and a bake sale from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. We will have kolache-to-go for you to share with your family and friends...or for you to keep for yourself.
We recommend purchasing your kolache in advance, so that you can guarantee satisfying your craving for fresh-baked kolache.
Pre-order your kolache for $13 per 1/2 dozen. You can purchase cherry, poppy seed, lemon, apple, cheese and apricot.

Join us at the Fox Hole Tavern on 8/5/2023 at 11am. Learn what is happening with Czech Language Foundation and what is happening with our Czech language and culture landscape.
10/8/2023 Annual Banquet - all welcome
Once again we will celebrate our students, donors and Czech community. We will have a Czech dinner, entertainment and silent auction. All are welcome to celebrate our Czech culture, language and heritage.
This year we are honored to have John Kotouc as our guest speaker.
The banquet is Sunday, October 8th at 5:00pm at First Lutheran Church (1551 S 70th Street, Lincoln, NE).
Tickets will be available online in July or from a CLF board member in September. Advance purchase is required.
